41st Annual NAPBIRT Conference
April 21-24, 2017

Welcome To Albuquerque

It took me a few tries to learn to spell Albuquerque, but I got it! Named for the Duke of Alburquerque and a city in Spain near the center of the cork industry. It is also directly connected to the NAPBIRT World headquarters by the Mother Road, Route 66. It’s a natural that we celebrate all things band instrument repair in one of the coolest places I’ve had the privilege to visit. Albuquerque is situated on the edge of the Chihuahuan Desert, flanked by the Sandia Mountains along with the Rio Grande River flowing through it, the city is geologically diverse as well as beautiful. The beauty is also greatly influenced by the people and art of the area. I really can’t say enough; you just need to see this place!

This will be our 41st year of sharing our craft. We all use the internet and social media daily to learn and share, but nothing can replace face to face learning. The impact of the conference experience is like none other and it will create life long memories as well as friends. Meeting, discussing, exploring ideas and sometimes debating all create a rich and fulfilling conference. The opportunity to try tools and discuss the benefits directly with the suppliers is another exclusive to our conference. The networking alone is like nothing you will find elsewhere. All in all, it’s a priceless event.

The Hotel Albuquerque at Old Town will be our home for the long weekend. Conveniently located in Old Town and within walking distance to restaurants, shops and museums, there is something for everyone.

Why Should I go to the NAPBIRT Conference?

I look forward to seeing you there!
